Interesting principle Herb Kelleher, Southwest Airlines Founder and CEO, applied at his airline:

“Think small and act small, and we’ll get bigger. Think big and act big, and we’ll get smaller”

I think “you should think bigger!” is the conventional advice that entrepreneurs get. And then they follow it. Resulting in big audacious visions and in companies that should not exist. I’ve certainly done this mistake at RSVPD. And seen to many first time entrepreneurs falling into the same trap. And it might be a good lesson, that will help staying away from drinking cool aid and staying close to reality.

Start small. Move fast. Iterate. Stay humble.
